- Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to provide "REPLACE FINISHES AT BUILDINGS 1 & 12 AND REPAINT ROOF HURRICANE FENCE". Work includes the replacement of interior finishes at Building 1, the correction of exterior deficiencies (i.e., cracks, holes, leaks, caulking, paint, etc.) at Building 12, and lead-based paint removal, corrosion control and painting at the roof's hurricane fence panels of Building 1 at the VA Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida, and other associated work as required by the specifications and drawings. The NAICS code is 238320/size standard is $13 million. Cost range is $250,000-$1,000,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The issue date is 6/10/08. Bid Opening: 7/10/08 at 3:00pm in Conference Room B18, Bldg. 19 at the VA MEDICAL CENTER, 619 S. MARION AVENUE, LAKE CITY, FL 32025. All bid packages must be accessed on line.
