PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number E006441. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 334310, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing : The size standard for this requirement is 750 employees. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. Brand name or equal will be accepted. Quotes offering “equal” products(including products of the brand name manufacturer other than the one described by the brand (name) will be considered if such product(s) is (are) clearly identified in the quote and is (are) determined by the FBI to meet fully the salient characteristics on above products. Unless the vendor clearly indicates in their quote that they are offering an “equal” products, the quote shall be considered as offering a brand name product referenced in this synopsis/solicitation. If the offeror proposes to furnish an “equal” product, the brand name of the product to be furnished shall be provided in the quote. All quotes will be considered. In addition, the required piece of equipment is considered a critical asset. Prior to award, the intended awardee will be required to submit documentation to include an Acquisition Risk Security Questionnaire and a Key Personnel Listing.
