Description

This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotes are being requested and a complete separate written solicitation package is available to download. The solicitation number is FA5575-08-T-0002, Request for Quotation. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-25. This procurement is NOT a Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 561621 Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), the size standard of which is $11,500,000 in annual receipts (Not to Exceed). DESCRIPTION: Repair and upgrade the Morón Air Base Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System. REQUIREMENTS: Contractor to provide all equipment, tools, materials, transportation, labor and supervision necessary to: CLIN 0001 Repair and upgrade Morón Air Base's CCTV system to improve its current surveillance capabilities and provide technical details on the installation and system in accordance with the incorporated Performance Work Statement (PWS), dated 29 April 08. Contractor guarantees that services shall be performed in accordance with all manufacturer's specifications and in such a manner that any repair work or upgrades made shall not limit or reduce the current system's capabilities. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Download the complete solicitation package for additional information required to submit a proper quote for evaluation. A site visit is recommended to properly estimate the amount of work required. If a site visit is scheduled, this notice will be updated to state the date and time. Interested contractors should contact the POCs listed at the bottom of this notice for more information or to obtain a copy of the solicitation package. Include your DUNS number, CAGE code and Federal TIN (foreign contractors need not submit a TIN) in your quote. To obtain or renew a DUNS number or CAGE code, visit www.ccr.gov. Foreign vendors visit www.ccr.gov/international.aspx. You MUST be CCR registered BEFORE you can receive any award resulting from this notice. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Morón AB, approx. 40 minutes away from Seville, Spain. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Desired completion date of the services is NLT 15 Jul 08. DISCLAIMER: In accordance with the Agreement of Defense and Cooperation between the Kingdom of Spain and the United States of America, any contract resulting from this notice/solicitation can only be entered into with companies authorized to carry out these activities in Spain under Spanish law. Companies must meet the requirements established by Spanish legislation for execution of Government works. Obtaining a license or permission to operate your company in Spain may be a long process; therefore any company anticipating interest in future projects should immediately begin the processes that will be required by contacting the Delegation of Industry at either of their two offices in the Madrid or Andalucia provinces.
