- Description
- The government is seeking sources for the procurement, delivery and installation of 60 Re-usable Breachable Doors to Quantico VA. The breachable doors will be utilized by The Basic School and the Dynamic Entry School to support their training curriculum. The contractor will be required to fabricate, deliver and install a total of 60 Re-usable Breachable Doors to MCB Quantico, VA. Both The Basic School (TBS) and the Dynamic Entry School (DES) have the requirement for a re-usable breachable door system in support of their training curriculum to instruct students on how to properly gain entry into buildings using mechanical (TBS) and explosive (DES) entry techniques in a simulated combat scenario. In order to provide a more realistic environment, Range Management Branch (RMB) is requesting the purchase of these re-usable breachable doors for Combat Town, MOUT facility, and the Goettge Demo Range (GDR). The contractor shall be responsible for the installation of these doors in the facilities that will be designated by RMB. These doors shall be multi-purpose, multi-use doors that will be used for pry, ram, explosive and shotgun breaches. These doors also have no consumable parts. The award will be approximately $200,000 with an anticipated delivery date of 90 days after contract award. This request for proposal in no way implies either implicitly or explicitly that respondents will be compensated in any way by the US Government for information or materials provided.
