Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is R1BK13080049 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25 (Effective on April 22, 2008). This solicitation is 100% set aside for service disabled veteran owned small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 423210 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. SUPPLIES OR SERVICES: The Contractor shall furnish and install the following office furniture at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Middletown, CT. Any questions shall be directed to the Contracting Officer Anthony Pellegrino (617-565-5750) at Anthony. Pellegrino@gsa.gov with copies to Uttrak Ou at uttrak.ou@gsa.gov. Please send all questions within five (5) days from the date of this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items (Apr. 2008)* applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. (* (c) Period for acceptance of offers. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation.) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the lowest total price quotation that meets all delivery requirements. Delivery requirements include the following: (1) Delivery terms shall be FOB destination and offerors shall describe, in detail, the installation process; (2) Delivery of all items shall take place not later than ninety (90) calendar days from the date of award; (3) There shall be no partial deliveries. Offerors are to provide quotations for all items to be considered responsive. Only one award will be made in response to this solicitation. Multiple awards will not be made. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 2007), with its offer and/or verify by the ORCA website. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2007), applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Apr 2008), applies to this acquisition. The following additional clauses are incorporated by reference to implement provisions of law or executive orders applicable to acquisitions of commercial items or components: [None] The due date for receipt of quotations is May 28, at 11:00 am EST.
