Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award on a Sole Source basis with Shupper Brickle Equipment Company to provide all material and labor for replacement controls on the pipe handling winch and haul back winch located at Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia, PA. Work to include installation of winch controls, bulkhead junction box, and power control cable. The contractor shall also perform functional and electrical testing on the controls. All work shall be in accordance with the scope of work. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract award will be made on the bases of this notice. This notice does not constitute a solicitation document and request for such documents will not be considered. However, all information received within three (3) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. All work shall be completed within eight (8) weeks upon receipt of the purchase order. The NAICS code is 333923 with a size standard of 500 employees.
