- Estimated date of issue of solicitation: 30 May 08 Estimateddate of contract award: 31 Jul 08. PR Number(s): FD20300803820This solicitation is for the remanufacture of F108 Turbine ClearanceControl Valve (TCCV). This contract will be a requirements contract fora basic one year period and four one year option periods. The CLINswill be made up of a priced CLIN for remanufacture, a priced CLIN foraccident/mishap investigation and unpriced CLINs for data reports. TheTCCV has input NSNs of 4810-01-139-2205PN, 4810-01-392-5278PN and/or4810-01-460-3279PN and an output NSN of 4810-01-460-3249PN. Therespective P/Ns are 7061M31G01/02/03, 7061M31G04 and 7061M31G05. TheBest Estimated Quantities are 16, 13, 15, 11, and 9 each for the 5 yearsrespectively. The accident/mishap investigations will be As Requiredbut will be priced with a quantity of 1 each per year. The data reportsinclude AFMC For 413 Depot Maintenance Production Report, CAV II/CAVAFReporting and Test Report for Mishap Investigations. This effort wasprevious acquired under contract FA34601-03-D-0015 awarded 07 Mar 03. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limitednumber of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested personsmay identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirementor submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fortyfive-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basicordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not tocompete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for the purpose of determiningwhether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or themanufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award inaccordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies theoffice where additional information can be obtained concerningqualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation.
