Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA 94404, for reagent kits and consumables to be used on an existing AB3730XL instrument for genome sequencing projects in the Biotechnology Core Facility. The items to be ordered are as follows: #4331246, FG, CAPILLARY ARRAY 96 X 50cm, 4 each; #4337457, TF,BDT V3.1 RR-5000 & SEQ BUFFER, 2 each; #4335613, FG, 3730 BUFFER (10x) WITH EDTA 500ml, 5 each; #4363935, TF,BOX OF 10 BOTTLES POP-7, 1 box; and #4305603, FG,5x SEQUENCING BUFFER 5400 RXN, 5 each. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
