- The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) issued Request for Proposal (RFP) W81GYE-08-R-0017 on 13 May 08 which will be be posted at the following website: http://www.sddc.army.mil, click on Doing Business with SDDC and then click on RFP W81GYE-08-R-0017. SDDC intends to award a one-year delivery order, to be issued against an existing SDDC Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at Norfolk and Newport News, VA. The period of performance will commence on or about 23 May 2008. The contractor will arrange for stevedoring services, including material and equipment, except those materials specified as Government Furnished, in accordance with the Schedule Notes of the RFP and Performance Work Statement of the Basic Ordering Agreement, to load and discharge DoD cargo from commercial and military vessels. NAICS 488320 Federal Supply Code V114. The RFP closes on 21 May 2008 at 4:00 PM. All responsible sources holding Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA) with SDDC may submit an offer.
