Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice of intent to conduct a commercial item acquisition. The U.S. Coast Guard YARD has a requirement for Removal and Disposal of Non-Hazardous, used Sandblast Grit at the U.S. Coast Guard YARD. It is intended to award a firm-fixed price, one-year requirements type contract. A complete description of the contract line items shall be included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Request for Quotation (RFQ) shall be issued via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the Request for Quotation will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FedBizOpps for solicitation release and any subsequent amendments. The date and time for receipt of quotes shall be specified in the Request for Quotation. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 562111 and the size standard is $11.5 Million. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. A solicitation is forth coming and will be released on or about 27 May 2008. It is intended to make an award on or about 25 July 2008.
