Description
The purpose of this Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) is to provide real property repair and maintenance, environmental work, incidental services, force protection work, and construction services to include new construction and renovation in the areas identified below. Use of the MATOC provides a construction product delivery method that can accommodate quick and straight-forward projects, as well as some small but complex projects, and can help minimize design effort and related overhead expenditures, as well as handle compressed schedules. Task Orders will primarily address general building construction and renovation; bridges, roads and pavement construction and repair; and general environmental work including, but not limited to, incidental minor construction, excavation, plumbing, demolition, electrical, structural, mechanical, concrete work, and environmental remedial work. Project work may also include Force Protection type projects and Design Build projects for various construction type projects. 1.3 GEOGRAPHICAL AREA The MATOC work will be geographically located throughout Africa but primarily in the following zones: North: Western Sahara, Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya. West: Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, The Gambia, Benin, Burkina Gaso, Cote DIvoire, Ghana, Guinea. Liberia, Sierra Leone, Togo, Mali, Niger, Nigeria. Central: Sao Tome and Principe,m Central African Republic, Chad, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Republic of Congo, Angola, Zambia. East: Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somolia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania. South: Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Madagascar. There may be some work for other African countries as required within any African country in the U. S. Africa Command Area of Responsibility. Successful Offerors shall be required to meet specific country requirements that shall be identified per Task Order. The Government reserves the right to issue additional solicitations and award additional contracts within the region covered by this solicitation.
