- Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order to Silynx Communications for the following (made on an all or none basis): Services Non-personal: Contractor to supply 18 ea. QuietOps tactical headset systems and additional spare parts as listed. Shipping must be included in this quote. This smart tactical communication headset and ear protector provides full-spectrum active noise reduction and ear protection. Headset attaches to all radio systems used by EOD operators in the field – MBITR/SINCGARS/AN/VIC-3 Line Item 1 (18 ea): SIN0001-01-AA QuiteOps Tactical Headset System, MBITR (Color-coyote brown); Include the following attached items: IN0001-01 QuietOps, control-box, (color-coyote brown). SPT0001-00-AA Dual Wireless PTT w/Picatinny Rail. HS0001-00-AA QO in the ear headset with quick disconnect male conn. CA0002-00 Cable adaptor for QO, MBITR – side connector CA0001-00 Cable adaptor for QO, MBITR/PRC117 – top conn. 5 pin. ERC000001 Spare Foam Ear Plugs – one pair each size / 5 pairs total. DOC-USM000005 Document, QuietOps Pocket Guide – English. DOC-USM000003 Document, QuietOps Interactive user quide. Line Item 2 (18 ea): CA0008-00 Cable Adaptor for QuietOps, VIS. Line Item 3 (2 ea): ERC000006-1 Spare Foam Ear Plugs, size-XXL, blue, 50 pairs. Line Item 4 (3 ea): ERC000005-1 Spare Foam Ear Plugs, size-XL, light yellow, 50 pairs. Line Item 5 (3 ea): ERC000004-1 Spare Foam Ear Plugs, size-Large, grey, 50 pairs. Line Item 6 (3 ea): ERC000003-1 Spare Foam Ear Plugs, size-Medium, orange, 50 pairs. Line Item 7 (2 ea): ERC000002-1 Spare Foam Ear Plugs, size-Small, green, 50 pairs. Line Item 8 (18 ea): BATAD5590-001 Battery Adaptor, 5590 battery to MBITR. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a), full and open competition need not be provided when there is only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. These headsets provides full-spectrum noise reduction and ear protection which is a must for combat missions. Multi-platform integration allows it to mate with AN/PRC-152 Radios, MBITR, SINCGARS, and VIC-3 systems. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Federal Supply Class FSC is 5965. The North American Industry Classification System NAICS code is 334220. The Standard Industrial Classification SIC is 5065.
