Description

The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations, intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Hankins and Anderson, Inc, 4880 Sadler Road, Suite 300, Glen Allen, VA 23060-6150. DHS intents to award a sole source purchase order to Hankins and Anderson (H&A) for Title II Architect-Engineering construction administration services for the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center. H&A is the Designer of Record for an upcoming construction requirement for Mount Weather and is the only responsible source for providing design expertise and knowledge concerning that requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, requests for such a document will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement to paula.nusbaum@dhs.gov no later than Monday, May 19, 2008.
