- DESC: NSN 6150-01-458-4362, Part Number 12900612. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. The item to procure is a Printed Wiring Board Assembly, Flexible (Army Part Number 12900612) is used on the M2A3 and M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS) turret. This is a printed wiring board approximately 6.75 x 3.25 x 0.075 that is a component of Circuit Card Assembly (Army Part Number 12976129) and is attached by a M55302/192LD122F connector. Above the M55302 connector, an unlaminated fold area separates three electronic circular connections A15J1, A15J2, and A15J3 in accordance with MIL-STD-1560. Two copper sections are exposed between the first and third circular connection. The board is composed of several layers; single sided metal clad dielectric metals conforming to IPC-FC-241/1-E1E1MCF-W71S/03, double sided clad dielectric metals conforming to IPC-FC-241/1-E1E1MCF-W72S/2S3, double sided metal clad dielectric conforming to IPC-FC-241/1-E1E1MCF-W72S/1S3, insulation material per specification IPC-FC-231/1-E1E13, adhesive per IPC-FC-233/1-000M13 and a stiffener board glass fiber material per specification MIL-P-13949/4. Please see note 13 and figure one on drawing 12976133 for construction of the board layers. The flexible cable shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-2118 and MIL-P-50884, Type 3, Class A. Requirements are QTY 40, Cable Assembly, Prin. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. FOB is Destination. For use on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS). Estimated issue date is 27 MAY 2008. Proposals will be evaluated utilizing a best value approach. Award of a contract will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best overall value to the Government based on price and performance risk. Performance risk will be evaluated using the Performance Information Retrieval Systems Statistical Reporting. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
