Description

Subject to final approval, the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Public Debt intends to negotiate and award, on a sole-source basis, a simplified acquisition, for a base period with one, one-year option period, to SRI Consulting Business Intelligence, Inc., 333 Ravenswood Avenue, Menilo Park, CA 94025-3453, for a subscription renewal for the 2008-09 MacroMonitor Financial Services Database. This subscription provides the Bureau of the Public Debt a research-based survey that provides demographic, attitudinal, and behavioral information about individuals or households who purchase and hold marketable U.S. Treasury bills, notes, TIPS, Treasury bonds, and U.S. savings bonds. This subscription also provides historical research about consumers and their purchase of Treasury securities for at least five (5) years. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. Public Debt will consider written responses received no later than Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. est. Written responses must be submitted to PSB1@bpd.treas.gov and must include sufficient documentation that clearly shows the Contractor is capable of providing the requested service. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole-source award to SRI Consulting Business Intelligence, Inc.
