Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for (1). Professionally power wash column bases, stone side walls, stairs and landings at 15th, 14th and 13th street entrance, with special focus on chewing gum and other stains, Quantity: 1 SET (2). Professionally wash all the glass on the exterior of both building using a biodegradable detergent, Quantity: 1 SET (3). Load test and provide an annual recertification of anchoring system and cable, by a licensed professional engineer per OSHA Reg. 1910.66 and ANSI I-14.1-2001 standards. Complete and deliver compliance certificate to initiator Quantity: 1 SET. The simplified and commercial acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 13 and 12 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted with regard to business size. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 421850, with a small business size standard of 100 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-08-0199. Service will be performed at Bureau of Engraving & Printing, D Street Between 13TH & 14th Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be based on suppliers meeting the requirements and price. All interested firms are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, and DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on May 13, 2008. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Acquisition, Attn: Rosa Lee, 14th and C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-001 or faxed to Rosa Lee at 202-874-2200.
