Description

The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 with General Dynamics C4 Systems Inc, 8201 E McDowell RD, Scottsdale AZ 85257-3812 for two (2) Turnkey - Desktop (CAW 5.X) CipherNET, P/N: 1TGN19A2AC. The General Dynamics system is the only DISA and NSA approved system to support the Defense Messaging System (DMS). It is the NSA token management component for the DMS and is the only Multi-level Information Systems Security Initiative (MISSI) compliant FORTEZZA token management system. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received by the response date of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334111.
