- Description
- TACOM LCMC (RI) is seeking sources interested in providing Army Sustainment Command (ASC) expert, multi-disciplined technical support and services to assist the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) maintenance facilities to meet all assigned requirements in a timely manner. Services to be performed included: Assistance in developing initial ASC QA Policy and Programs; Support to assist ASC in looking at the current QA/Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP) at their Army forward support battalions (AFSbns)/Directorate of Logistics Field Level Repair Centers (DOL/FLRCs); conducting surveillance audits and/or compliance audits of selected maintenance activities; providing training to HQ, and DOL maintenance personnel regarding an ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System. Required skills include: knowledge and experience in establishing an overarching QMS, minimum of five years of conducting ISO 900 training, minimum of 10 years lead auditor experience in auditing companies or facilities engaged in DOD manufacturing/repairing/overhaul operations. Initial period of performance is for a 120 day period with an expectation of continuing services up to one year. Funding will be incremental. INSTRUCTIONS TO INTERESTED PARTIES: Request that all interested offerors must provide a capability statement and detail their previous work experience in the areas listed above. Work performed within the past three years is considered relevant experience for this sources sought announcement response. Please include in the capability statement Points of Contact who can provide additional information if requested. INFORMATION: This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. This announcement does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisition strategies as deemed appropriate.
