Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is hereby issued. The Solicitation/RFQ Number is N40083-08-Q-3020. The proposal due date is 09 May 2008 no later than 1600 CST. This procurement is an Emerging Small Business (ESB) Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 and business size standard of $13 million dollars are applicable. DESCRIPTON: Electrical Whips-Bldg. 3400: Install a minimum quantity of 30 whips. The whips will be fed from two (2) PDU’s. Each of the whips will be thirty (30') to forty (40’) feet in length; exact length to be determined by the distance from the corresponding PDU to each workstation. End in a NEMA Isolated Ground receptacle. One half inch (1/2") liquid tight flex conduit required. Liquid tight receptacle box required. Wired to support a load as specified in the attached spreadsheet. All circuits are to be labeled at both the breaker and receptacle end. The receptacle end will specify the number of the PDU, the number of the panel, and the circuit number(s). Determine what spaces will be left on PDU after the requirement above has been satisfied. Fill remaining spaces in PDU’s with 30’ 30A, 208vac, 1ph L6-30R whips to maximize capacity of PDU’s. SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD AT 10AM ON 30 APR 08.
