Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price modification to contract N00421-07-C-0081, to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc., 450 Pulaski Road, Greenlawn, NY 11740-1606. BAE Systems was awarded the competitive contract to provide (8) First Article Conformal-Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (C-CRPA) systems to support the F/A-18 Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) effort. This quantity was based on estimates that have proven insufficient to support the F/A-18 flight test. Subsequent analyses of F/A-18 flight test requirements now require six (6) additional antenna systems. This follow on is for the procurement of (6) developmental and testing C-CRPA to support the F/A-18 flight test.The C-CRPA is specifically applicable to the dorsal fuselage of the F/A-18 Aircraft. Its conformal design is dependent upon proprietary technical data. BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. owns the proprietary technical data required to produce and deliver the C-CRPA for the F/A-18 flight test.
