- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is to clarify that the dates listed in the “request for information to get industry comments” are NOT firm dates. As more information becomes available, the information will be posted here at the FedBizOpps web site at http//www.fedbizopps.gov.It will be the responsibility of the contractor to check this website for the issuing and any changes to the solicitation. This is a request for information to get industry comments reguarding the indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract format for custodial services. Please review the information with uploaded attachments and provide comments by 1 April 08 to Susan Bechtel, PAFB 21 CONS, susan.bechtel@peterson.af.mil. 21 CONS will post Solicitation # FA2517-07-R-5001, Custodial Services for Peterson Air Force Base (PAFB) and Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS). The contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The NAICS code is 561720 and the size standard is $17M. The contact will include one 12-month base year plus four, 12-month options (01 April 2009 through 31 March 2014), performed at PAFB and CMAFS. The solicitation will be a HUBZone set-aside. The services to be performed shall include: perform Special cleaning for child development centers, fitness centers, medical Aid Station, and Distinguished Visitor Route, perform general and Ala Carte cleaning, and perform Emergency and Special Event cleaning. A complete performance work statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format and may be downloaded from the FedBizOpps web site at http//www.fedbizopps.gov. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to check this website for the issuing and any changes to the solicitation. Estimated solicitation issue date is 28 April 2008. Bids will be accepted from all interested responsible and responsive parties. Estimated award date is 18 Feb 09. Contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR) to be awarded DoD contracts. Further information may be obtained through the Internet at http://www.acq.os.mil. The Internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov. You may also contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423, customer service, and request the registration form and assistance packet. PAFB and CMAFS will conduct a site visit for one representative from interested parties. The site visit will be held on 12 May 2008, at 0800 hrs. 21 CONS will provide transportation to the different facilities. The one representative from the interested parties is required to provide: Full name, Social Security number, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, and Citizenship. Please provide this information to Ms. Susan Bechtel no later than 1400 hrs, 30 April 2008. Due to security control, NO late requests or substitutes will be allowed to participate in the site visit. Interested parties who have submitted the required information will need to meet at the west gate visitors center building at 0800 hrs, 12 May 08.
