- THIS IS AMENMENT TO THE ORIGINAL COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION NOTICE POSTED APRIL 10, 2008. THE RESPONSE DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO APRIL 23, 2008. THE COMBINED SOLICIATION IS AMENDED TO IDENTIFY THE PAGER'S TYPE AS ONE-WAY ALPHA-NUMERIC PAGERS NOT DIGITAL. SERVICES ARE LOCAL WITH INTERMITTENT TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF THE LOCAL AREA I.E., 60-100 MILES SOMETIMES OUT OF STATE. OUT OF STATE TRAVEL IS VERY INFREQUENT. THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL PAGERS COULD BE POSSIBLE, BUT NO GUARANTEE ON NUMBER AS THIS IS AN UNKNOWN. FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS - COMMERCIAL APPLIES TO THIS ACQUISITION. OFFERS MAY BE SUBMITTED VIA FAX, EMAIL OR MAIL. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is IHS-SOL-0800075.
