- Description
- The Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command intends to awardon a sole source basis with Chevron USA Inc., (Chevron Energy Solutions) Eagan, MN 55121. This requirement is limited to only energy saving contractors that have been pre-qualified by the Corps of Engineers (for Dept of Defense entities) and/or the Department of Energy (for other Federal Agencies or Departments). This requirement is to furnish all labor, supervision, travel, vehicle operation, tools, equipment and materials required to implement and execute a preventive maintenance (PM) program for the heating and cooling equipment at Picatinny, NJ, on a firm-fixed-price basis, in anticipation of future energy-efficient upgrades being accomplished on the equipment under the Picatinny Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC). Furnish all labor, supervision, travel, vehicle operation, tools and equipto implement and execute a work order response program. To include energy-efficient equipment upgrades, during normal business hours on a firm-fixed -price basis for requirements that are above and beyond the tasks stipulated in the PM Program. Provide heating, ventilating and air conditioning technicians at a fixed hourly rate to perform emergency repairs after business hours that are above and beyond the tasks stipulated in the PM program. Furnish engineering design services to review repair impacts on energy performance. Furnish and maintain an automated database program to track all maintenance, repair and upgrade activities, differentiating between tasks under the PM program and other work requirements. Furnish materials/parts specifically purchased for the work order response program, including energy-efficient equipment upgrades, and emergency repairs above and beyond the tasks stipulated in the PM program. Materials/Parts shall be identified for use on theis contract only and shall be furnished at cost with any discounts offered credited to the Government, plus a reasonable allowance for overhead and profit. Contract for one year from the date of award with four option years. Initial and option years based on availability of funds. A commercial service contract is contemplated.
