Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Acquisition Management Division, intends to procure on a sole source basis using simplified acquisition procedures with NCSL International of Boulder, CO for registration to the 2008 Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements (CPEM) under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) Only One Source Reasonable Available. The Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements, to be held June 8-13, 2008, is devoted to topics related to electromagnetic measurements and is pivotal to researchers who are responsible for electrical standards. Therefore, attendance at this conference is crucial to the NIST mission. Award will be made to the conference host agency, NCSL International, on or about April 21, 2008. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation is available.
