Description
The government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order for material in accordance with FAR part 13, for Naval Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG). The material is required for NAVELSG to provide a floor in the Base-X shelters currently in their inventory. These floors are to be used as replacements for the worn and/or damaged floors. The Governments minimum needs have been verified by Certifying technical and requirements personnel. This requirement is for BRAND NAME MANDATORY items, manufactured by Base-X, Inc. (DBA Base-X Shelters), 6051 North Lee Highway, Fairfield, VA 24435. The Base-X Shelters is the leading provider of rapid-deploying mobile infrastructure for military, homeland, and industrial field operations, Base-X is recognized around the world for its proven product performance in the harshest environments and for its first class training and support.The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 624221. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 22 APRIL, 2008. All responsible sources must submit pricing and past performance data by 12:30 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. B! y submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside of the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://ccr.gov.
