- Description
- FISC Norfolk Philadelphia Division intends to solicit on a small business set aside for the staffing of the Wounded Warrior Operations Center located in Quantico, VA, Camp LeJeune NC, and Camp Pendleton, CA in support of the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. The Wounded Warrior Operations Center is a program that is managed by the Bureau of Navy Medicine and Surgery. The goals of this program are 1) to support a comprehensive psychological health and traumatic brain Injury program which will ensure every marine and sailor assigned to a marine corp unit receives the best prevention, identification, and treatment available for issues effecting the psychological health of U.S. service members. 2) assist in developing policies and implementing procedures for psychological health and Traumatic brain injury and 3) to facilitate clinical assessment and management of individual cases for the wounded warrior regiment. Contractor to provide coordinators and an office mana! ger to provide outreach, liaison, education and training activities in support of these programs during the period of performance which is estimated to begin on or before 1 August 08. The period of performance will consist of one 12 month period w/ up to four one year option periods. It is anticipated that an award of a firm fixed price commercial items contract will be the result of this best value acquisition effort. The NACIS code for this effort is 561990.
