- DESCRIPTION: The Fargo Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) is soliciting proposals to provide radiation therapy consultation, treatment, and follow-up care for patients of the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Fargo, North Dakota for the period of one year from the date of the award in accordance with all specifications, work statement, terms and conditions contained therein (with four (4) one-year options exercised at the government's discretion). Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency/capability to perform services and satisfactory past performance record. The Government anticipates award of a commercial firm-fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. Anticipated release of solicitation (request for proposals) is April 18, 2008 or sooner with resulting award effective date is Aug 1, 2008. This procurement is full and open competition (unrestricted). The physical location of the Contractor must be within 15 miles of the Fargo VA Medical Center. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their proposal. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. A Pre-Proposal conference is scheduled for April 25, 2008, 9:00 AM (Local Time) on the Second Floor, Room 2107 of the Fargo Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC), 2101 Elm Street, Fargo ND 58102. Contractors who wish to attend the pre-proposal conference must notifiy the Contracting Officer for this solicitation (Charles Bill Kollitz) NLT: April 23, 2008. There will be no public opening. The proposals will be evaluated and award made on the basis of Best Value in accordance with the FAR Subpart 15. Contract will be awarded SUBJECT TO AVAILABLE FUNDS.
