- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) #F1W0AS8092A901 for P-51 Air Show Appearance. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 711219. All responsible Contractors shall provide a quote for the following: Line Item 0001: Provide a P-51 "Ole Yeller" Aircraft for Air Show Performance and Static Display. - Quantity: 1 - Unit of Issue: Lump Sum LOCATION AND DATE Items will be required from June 28th through June 29th 2008 at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, Alaska, 99506 in support of the 2008 Arctic Thunder Air Show.
