- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number R3-08-18 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorprated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-24. The USDA Forest Service, Soutwestern Region, requests quotations on ammunition of the following: CLI-01).40 Caliber, Smith and Wesson, Ranger 180 Grain, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 50,500 rounds, CLI-02).45 Auto, ACP, Ranger, 230 Grain, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 2,500 rounds, CLI-03).223 Remington, Ranger, 64 Grain, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 17,600 rounds, CLI-04) 12 Gauge 00 Buck, Ranger, 9 pellet, 2,500 rounds, CLI-05) 12 Gauge 1 oz. Rifled Slug, 2,500 rounds, CLI-06) 9 MM, Ranger, 124 Grain +P, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 6,500 rounds, CLI-07).38 Caliber, Ranger, 110 Grain +P+, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 500 rounds, CLI-08).380 Caliber, Auto, Ranger, 95 Grain, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 500 rounds. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, the following apply: 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33.
