Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole-source procurement to McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516 to provide Active Noise Reduction Tactical Air Navigation (ARN-118 TACAN) cables for all Lot 32 F/A-18E/F aircraft and Multifunction Informational Distribution System Low Volume Terminal (MIDS-LVT) cables for all Lot 32 and 33 EA-18G aircraft along with any required non-recurring engineering and logistics. McDonnell Douglas is the F/A-18E/F & EA-18G Original Equipment Manufacturer and is the only known source capable of fulfilling this requirement in time to support production schedules. NAVAIR intends to award a firm-fixed price modification to aircraft production contract N00019-04-C-0014 for this action.
