<h4>Description</h4> This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTATIONS are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is AG- 04M3-S-08-0015 and this requirement is being issued as a Request for Quote. The procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 423830 - small business size standard is 100 employees. The USDA Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, R-6 Blue Mountain Area, PO Box 907, Baker City, OR 97814. The scope of work consists of supply and delivery of 1 Class 931 Forklift. Quote prices may be faxed to 541-523-1215. Technical Specifications: 6,000 to 6,500 pounds Fuel: L.P. Gas - 2.2 L engine or larger Automatic idle up system Automatic power shift transmission Dual pneumatic tires Active stability control Semi-suspension seat with orange colored seat belt Power steering Hydraulic brakes Forks: 48 inches in length with automatic fork leveling control Hydraulic side shifting fork positioner Driving lights - front and rear - one amber beacon in rear Back up alarm (smart alarm) Upright: 90 inch overall lowered height, including canopy Overall lifting height 200 inches max Shop and Parts manual need to be provided at time of delivery Operators manual 2 each QUOTE PRICE $__________________ DELIVERY: After notice of award the vendor will have 45 days to deliver the equipment to the Government at the Malheur National Forest, Automotive Shop, 150 Government Road, John Day, OR. Attn: Ben Lindley at 541-575-3709. INSPECTION: Inspection will be done when delivered to Malheur National Forest, by either Ben Lindley or Charles Bowden. The forklift must past inspection before acceptance.
