LAIRCM NEXT GENERATION (NEXGEN) MISSILE WARNING SUBSYSTEM (MWS) PRODUCTION PROGRAM UPDATE The Government hereby issues the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Next Generation (NexGen) Missile Warning Subsystem (MWS) Production effort. Attached is the draft RFP document containing the Statement of Objectives (Attachment 1) and the CDRL Package Index (Exhibit A) as well as separate documents for Section L and M. The Section 6 Volume III – Cost/Price portion of Section L has been omitted from the RFP and an update will be posted within 10 calendar days. The Sub-factor 6 language for Small Disadvantaged Business Participation is currently under review for both Section L and M documents. The purpose of this draft release is to provide potential offerer(s) with an understanding of Government requirements and to help resolve concerns with RFP development. Potential concerns to be addressed include, but are not limited to, the following: proposed contract type, terms and conditions, delivery schedules; statements of objectives and data requirements; availability of reference documents; suitability of proposal instructions and evaluation criteria, all of which will allow potential offeror(s) to provide a proposal that satisfies the government’s requirements and is executable by offeror(s). Any questions or comments in response to this draft RFP shall be provided in writing or e-mail to the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days. Government comments to any offeror(s) questions or concerns will be posted within 15 calendar days.
