SOLICITATION NUMBER: W67K2R-8024-0100 QUOTE DUE DATE: 31 March 2008 POC: Linda Duvall, Contracting Off icer, (801)523-4091 DESCRIPTION: This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are hereby requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 311999, size standard is 500 Employe es. REQUIREMENT: Seven Hundred-Twenty (720) Cases of Self Heating Meals Kits (144 cases of Chili Mac, 144 cases of Chicken and Pasta, 144 cases of Beef Stew, 144 cases of Beans and Rice, 144 cases of Beans and Franks); 144 cases per pallet 1 5 Meal Kits per case to include: self-heating meal/entr?e (15 oz.), small can of fruit, fruit punch drink, cookie and cutlery. Non-Toxic Heating Components, Fully Self Contained, Non-Flammable and Environmentally Safe, Simple Heating Method, 3 to 5 Year Shelf Life, Extra Large Portions, Reduced Sodium, Food is heated to 140-160 degrees eating temperature in 9 to 12 minutes. APPLICABLE PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award.
