Description
The following are vendor questions and the Government's responses: 1. QUESTION: We would like to participate in VA-246-08-RP-0011 and want to know if a Personal Care License is required to participate. ANSWER: Please state in your proposal if you have a licensed in the state of North CarolinaA determination will be made during technical evaluation. Please submit your proposal. If they are licensed by the State of NC, then okay. They should state that they do not have license for personal care services. We use many of the terms interchangeable, so it may not be a barrier. I will have to check to be sure. 2. QUESTION: For the $3.16 Fringe Benefits, can they be provided by us through benefits (health, dental, vacation time, etc.) that are equal to or exceed $3.16? ANSWER: Yes, the Contractor has option of providing the monetary benefit of $3.16 per hour OR a cash equivalent such as benefits (health, dental, etc.). 3. QUESTION: We are self insured this year for the first time. We have no experience data and will not be able to provide premium cost for that reason. How can we prove the worth/value of the benefits we are providing? ANSWER: All self-insured plans must be submitted to the Department to the DOL for approval in order to receive credit. Self-insured plans must meet all requirements found in 29 CFR 4.171(a) in order to receive credit. 4. Does anything need to be signed on page 2 of the solicitation? I wasn't sure if that page was just supposed to be left blank. ANSWER: No.
