Description
NSN: 4820-01-426-0229 Item description: Valve, Safety Relief. Manufacturers code and part number are: (61898), EMCO FLUID SYSTEMS INC. P/N:20610 and (88277), MCDONNELL DOUGLAS CORPORATION P/N:17B2C3004-1. This is an unrestricted acquisition. FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION APPLIES. Total pr quantity is 20 ea. Material will be shipped to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA. for a quantity of 20. See Note(s) 12 and 26. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of 19 March 2008 at HTTPS://WWW.DIBBS.BSM.DLA.MIL/. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The Small Business size standard is 1500 employees. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: EMCO FLUID SYSTEMS INC. (61898), P/N: 20610 AND MCDONNELL DOUGLAS CORPORATION (88277), P/N: 17B2C3004-1. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Delivery requested is 240 days. FOB is origin, inspection and acceptance will be origin. Notice to all contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item I, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitations in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instructions and requirements in solicitations and contract awards.
