- THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Scientific and Technical Library has a requirement to procure AIAA Meeting Papers and Archive which consists of two parts ? the archive and the annual subscription. The initiative is to provide authoritative electronic information products that are beneficial to the research and information needs of NAVAIR. AIAA Meeting Papers and Archive online econtent have been identified as an excellent research information tool which will support efforts to bring quality technical publications instantaneously in an easy to access manner to the researcher, technical information specialist, program manager and the Warfighter at NAVAIR. The requirement will be negotiated as a sole source with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), 1801 Alexander Bell Drive, Reston, VA. The contractor is the leading publisher in aerospace and the premier provider worldwide of information on aerospace technology, engineering, and science and shall provide user id and passwords for NAVAIR employees at the Patuxent River site to search the AIAA Meeting Papers and Archive econtent through the Technical Library Community of Interest (COI) on the MyNAVAIR portal. AIAA shall provide training, if needed, to the NAVAIR Scientific and Technical Library Team. A Firm Fixed Price contract will be issued with the anticipated period of performance of date of award to 31 December 2008 in the total estimated dollar value of $103,500.00.
