- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov on or about 17 March 2008. This modification replaces original notice posted 12/5/07. Provide all manpower, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, fuel, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide portable toilet services for designated public use areas at the Saylorville Lake Project, Polk County, Johnston, Iowa. This solicitation is a request for quote and is issued as Unrestricted to both Large and Small Business pursuant to the designated industry group in accordance with FAR 19.1005. The following NAICS code 562998 will apply with the size standard of $6.5 Million. This work will be awarded a s a performance-based contract. Performance-based means the Contractor is responsible for a quality end product. Evaluation factors for award shall be as follows: Experience, Past Performance, and Price. Contracts will be awarded to the technically ac ceptable, responsive, responsible, compliant vendor. Experience and Past Performance are significantly more important than price. The date and time for receipt of quotes will be on or about 15 April 2008, 4:00 p.m. local time. It is the offerors respo nsibility to monitor the fedbizopps web site for amendments to the solicitation. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
