Description
The purpose of this modification is to delete the previous information in its entirety and replace with the following: A one (1) day site-visit conference and tour will be conducted at Special Operations Forces Support Activity located at Blue Grass Station (beginning at Building 220), 5749 Briar Hill Road, Lexington, Kentucky on 24 of October 2007. The facility will open for registration at 7:00 am and the conference will begin promptly at 8:00 am for a site visit. Industry's involvement and participation is highly encouraged. Submit the names of all attendees, not to exceed three (3), to Ms. Jerry Backlund jerry.backlund@us.army.mil, prior to October 15, 2007. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. A United States issued photo ID will be required. A record of the conference shall be made and furnished to all prospective offerors. If there are any changes, up-to-date information to the site-visit conference, the information will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity web site found at www.fbo.gov. Hotel information may be found at http://lexington-kentucky.com or www.visitlex.com. Other hotel options are in the cities of Winchester and Paris, KY. To ensure adequate time to visit all the SOFSA facilities, the tour and confence schedule allows a limited time for lunch. The following items are prohibited due to security considerations: brief cases, cameras, recording devices, laptops, memory calculators, personal digital assistants (PDA/Palm Pilots), cell phones, Blackberries, pagers, and beepers. The conference security level is UNCLASSIFIED. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (05-SEP-2007).
