- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation- RFP (Request For Proposal) number is N40083-08-R-3008 and closes April 7, 2008. This procurement is set-aside for the SBA 8(a) program. The resulting award will be a firm-fixed price competitive source selection demolition contract requiring both price and technical proposals. All prospective offerors must register on the US Navy internet website www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedteds.gov (for building drawings and specifications). Any Amendments will be posted on the NECO website for downloading. The estimated cost of the entire project is in the range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 (including options). The NAICS code is 238910 (previously SI C 1795); size standard is $13,000,000. Federal Supply Class/Service (FSC/SVC) Code is Y119. Naval Station, Great Lakes, IL is announcing a requirement for the following: Demolition and removal of Bldgs. 24, 24A, 229, 331, 2600 (Bldg. 2600 may be removed from the announcement), 2710, Water Cooling Tower Bldgs. 239 and 325. Options are included for Bldgs. 76, 151, 521, 3216, 332, 333, and 334. Services include all labor, material, transportation, equipment and supervision required for the complete demolition and removal of buildings located at Naval Station, Great Lakes, IL. Any joint ventures with 8(a) members will have to comply with CFR Title 13, Section 124.513. Firms submitting technical and price proposals will not be compensated for documents. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time prior to award, to negotiate with any or all offerors, to award the contract to other than the offeror submitting the lowest total price, and to award t o the offeror submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government.
