Description

DESC: This solicitation will be issued as a full and open competition 1015-01-343-5332, Part Number 12591807, The item to procure is a GEAR, GUN USED ON THE M119A1 105MM HOWITZER AND IS MADE FROM STEEL ASTM A304 GRADE 4340H. OVERALL DIAMETER IS 4. 295 INCHES; LEAD ANGLE IS 4.550 DEG; CIRCULAR PITCH IS .5000; NUMBER OF TEETH IS 25; PITCH DIAMETER IS 3.9790 INCHES. Requirements are 80 each with 100% option. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date is 21 March 2008. This solicitation will be issue d electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.m il/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore in cumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receip t of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. A License Agreement between BAE Systems, RO Defense, Nottingham and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US. US means the 50 s tates and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US. Restricted TDP will require submission of Non-Disclosure agreement.
