Description

NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA) The 308th Armament Systems Wing (ARSW,) 683rd Armament Systems Squadron (ARSS) Sensor Fuzed Weapon (SFW) Program Office, is contemplating issuing a Sole Source Award to KDI Precision Products, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH. The Government is currently is negotiations for this fuze effort to be managed by Textron Defense Systems. If negotiations fail, the Government plans to contract with KDI for the fuzes. This effort is to procure an additional 600-800 SFW Tactical Munitions Dispenser (TMD) Fuzes with deliveries beginning May 09 and ending NLT August 09. The current SFW TMD Fuze acquisition strategy is to buy-to-budget to catch up with SFW total production quantities. This contract action is meant to increase maximum allowable quantities under each of the remaining production options with the first additional quantities delivered with the production option starting in May 09.
