- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole-source basis to J.I.T Logistics Inc. 235 Industrial Boulevard Fort Valley Georgia, 31030, an order for Qty 1 Auxiliary Power Unit. Brand Name or equal is not acceptable. No other parts will satisfy the Government???s requirement. The anticipated prototype APU will be capable of meeting required power output while being sufficiently compact and light enough for use on mobile vehicles. The closing date is 26 February 2008, 2:00 p.m. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall apply to this acquisition. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
