Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, intends to make a non-competitive award to spectromat GmbH, Wiener Str. 3 28359 Bremen, for SP054 Runit26X software and operating system upgrade to be, delivered to USGS, 12201 Sunrise Valley Dr. MS954, Reston, VA 20192 by March 30, 2008. No option periods are included. spectromat GmbH is the only known source for this requirement because of the proprietary design of the spectrometer and the software required to run it. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSAL. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish this item shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contract Specialist no later than the closing date of this announcement. The NAICS code is 541519 The anticipated award date of the contract is 03/03/2008. A vendor must register at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. See Numbered Note 22.
