Description
Project Title & Location: Richmond Outer and Inner Harbors, Maintenance Dredging. The work consists of maintenance dredging of the Federal channel located at or near the Port of Richmond, Contra Costa County, California. All dredging, material trans portation and material placement shall be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulatory guidance and applicable contract clauses. Dredged material excavated from the Richmond Inner Harbor shall be transported and off loaded at the Hamilton Wetland Restoration Project (HWRP) and disposed of at the San Francisco Deep Ocean Disposal Site (SF-DODS). The Government will provide off loading at the HWRP. Dredged material excavated from the Richmond Outer Harbor shall be transported a nd placed at the Alcatraz Disposal Site (SF-11) or the San Pablo Bay Disposal Site (SF-10).The Contractor may provide proposals for fully permitted beneficial use upland alternatives other than those placement sites listed herein. This Invitation fo r Bid (IFB) is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $31 Million. Estimated cost is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The recommended goals for subcontracting are: Small Business: 70%, Small Disadvantaged Business: 6.2%, Women-Owned Small Business: 7.0%, HUBZone Small Business: 9.8%, and Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business: 0.9%, Veteran-Owned Small Business 3.0%. The acquisition method is Invitation f or Bids (IFB). The solicitation will be available for download approximately 7 March 2008. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeDS. Access to the solicitation documents on the FedTeDs website will be via hyperlink. Contractors registered with the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDs) may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address : https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm.vendorlogin?open form & Solicitation Number = W912P7-08-B-0001.
