- 38--The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers - Baltimore District Field Exploration Unit requires a NEW multi-purpose truck mounted drill rig that can be operated safely and effectively on various types of terrain, as well as underneath low-lying structures to primarily support the Corps' mission essential drilling program. This requirement MUST be compatible with existing drilling tools that the Unit currently owns and operates that were manufactured by Central Mine Equipment. This requirement NAICS is 33 3131 and the size standard is 500 persons. It is currently set-aside for small businesses only. This announcement is primarily seeking sources who can provide the requirement in STRICT accordance with the specifications that can be obtained from the Corp s' website, FedTeDS. Only those vendors who can provide the requirement EXACTLY as stated in the specifications may provide a quote. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors requests for this solicitati on will be performed through ASFI. Contractors may download the request for quotations package in an electronic format, free of charge to all authenticated account holders of Federal Technical Data Solution System (FedTeDS)--a one time registration process for vendors/contractors--Accounts may only be attained by CCR-registered contractors/vendors, go to: https://www.fedteds.gov for additional information.
