Description
The Government is planning to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), not a contract, for Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System(s) and Electronic Entry Control System(s) (EECS) located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The period of performance for this BPA will be five years. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This requirement consists of the installation of new zones and furnishing all labor, materials, parts and equipment to perform troubleshooting, repair and other service necessary to ensure continuous operation of the CCTV/EECS. Zones may be added or deleted to the system at the discretion of the Physical Security Inspector (PSI). The contractor is required to service only equipment which is a part of the CCTV/EECS covered by this agreement. The contractor shall be responsible for repairs due to the following: damage of any equipment connected to the primary electrical power supply caused by a change in the value of characteristics of the electrical power supplies; damage to any equipment connected to leased or Government owned telephone lines or signal cables caused by the application of an electric source to these lines or cables which affects the CCTV/EECS, such as; lightning or other natural causes; telephone line or cable failure; testing by personnel other than authorized personnel; improper operation of the CCTV/EECS; damage from misuse or physical damage to the system. The Government intends to award a BPA to Shane-Gelling as they possess proprietary information with the software packages required to run the EECS. Numbered Note 22 Applies.
