Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested sources and response to this RFI is voluntary and at the contractor?s expense. The Government is seeking qualified sources to provide, install, and test a wireless SIPR network in several buildings located on Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA. Follow-on training in the proper operations and maintenance of the equipment is expected. Some buildings have existing SIPR Points-of-Presence and others do not. All users will need typical office applications such as email, generating and transmitting office documents, and web browsing. All equipment shall be NSA approved for processing information classified up to and including Secret. The entire concept for operating and maintaining this wireless SIPR network shall satisfy all existing COMSEC requirements. Contractor?s staff shall possess at least a Secret clearance. Industry responses to this RFI may determine the Government?s acquisition strategy. Responses shall explain in detail: (1) the contractor?s unique experience in furnishing and installing wireless SIPRNET, including understanding of SecNet 11 and SecNet 54 bandwidths and COMSEC requirements; (2) a reference list of related DOD SIPRNET contracts within the past three (3) years, to include contract number, dollar vlaue, a brief description of services, and points of contact with phone number; (3) information related to the contractor?s business size and socioeconomic status by NAICS; (4) a copy of the GSA Federal Supply Schedule if the contractor has a GSA contract; and (5) a statement as to the capability of providing contractor employees with the required security clearance. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and it does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Interested parties having the required experience and skills to meet al l the above requirements are invited to submit a capability statement to Carol Amano, Contracting Officer, at carol.amano@usmc.mil by 27 February 2008.
