- Description
- The International Broadcasting Bureau - Office of Cuba Broadcasting(OCB) has a requirement to broadcast live coverage of Major League Baseball games for the 2008 baseball season. Broadcast rights are only available through Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., and no other sources can provide this service. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b), OCB plans to make an award to Major League Baseball on a sole-source basis for a broadcast rights license. This license will be procured within the next 15-days on behalf of OCB and for the use with Radio/TV Marti programming, a major international broadcast entity of the U.S. Government. This is not a solicitation, and interested sources that respond to this notice shall provide evidence of their ability to provide the required service within ten (10) days from the publishing of this Notice. Oral expressions of interest will not be accepted. Any questions related to the subject Notice or forthcoming Solicitation No. 88-1503 shall be submitted in writing to the attention of the Contracting Officer at the above listed address. All written expressions of interest shall specifically reference this Notice by its title and date of publication. This notice is not a RFQ, RFP or an IFB.
