- This requirement is being issued as a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is contemplating an award for services to pick up and dispose of Lithium Waste. Pick up is due NLT 30 June 2008. The closing date of the solicitation will be 11 March 2008 at 02:00 P.M. The solicitation number for this requirement is N00253-08-T-0062. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation is unrestricted and will be procured in this manner. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 562211 with a size standard of $11,500,000.00 dollars. The RFQ is posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An e mail request to paul.grdina@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation (3) and ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/). No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes will render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same.
