Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 9 Acquisition Service Center, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 is soliciting on behalf of the VA Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104 for contractor to provide angio/interventional radiology services to veteran beneficiaries at the VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN. Under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 U.S.C. 8153, the contractor shall provide the services of board eligible/board certified radiologist to perform the services detailed in the solicitation. Low Risk background investigations shall be conducted on all contractor personnel. This solicitation for commercial items will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, and in accordance with IL 90-99-4. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 621111 and the small business size standard is $9 Million. Solicitation will be available on or about February 22, 2008, with offers due on or about March 21, 2008. The contract period will be one year from the date of award, with the Government having the option to extend the contract for four (4) additional one-year periods. Hard copy solicitations will not be made available. No telephone calls are accepted. Contractors may obtain a hard copy of the solicitation and any attachments at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov using solicitation number VA-249-08-RP-0072. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining any amendments to the solicitation. All offers must be returned to the address in block 9 of Standard Form 1449. It is a requirement that all contractors be registered with CCR (Central Contractor Registration).
